Went here with my son before a revs match without checking Yelp first and was shocked to see so many negative reviews. We walked in and were greeted immediately with a smile. We didn't have a reservation but were seated right away at 5:30 on a busy Saturday night. We had hibachi seating and were seated with several other families. Everything was clean in our area, even the stainless steel hoods. Our server was friendly and got us drinks right away upon sitting. Beer menu was OK for this type of place. They had some nifty Japanese soda with a cool bottle and a glass marble inside. Our hibachi chef was funny and entertaining. He didn't perform any magic tricks but did put on a small and enjoyable show complete with the notorious saki gun. Food was decent and on par with most hibachi spots I've been to. The hibachi meals were around $30 on average which is slightly higher than others in the area but they do not give you the typical 2 shrimp appetizer and you have to choose between soup or salad making Saga a tad pricey for what you get. Maybe Bob Kraft charges some astronomical rent and this is how they stay afloat? It was just under $100 for 2 with tip, 1 beer and 1 soda. Portions were slightly smaller than similar places and I felt a bit rushed towards the end. Overall, we had a nice experience. It wasn't out of this world but also wasn't the 1 star that so many others had. Was probably worthy of a 3 star rating but I'm rounding up to balance some of the 1s on here.

The staff at the restaurant were extremely welcoming. I treated myself to a tasty Bellini and started off with some delicious panseared gyoza. For my main course, I had the patriot roll and it did not disappoint. Overall, everything was really tasty.

I haven't been here since Patriot's Place was in it's infancy stages. My friend got us tickets to see Luke Combs (not for long, curse you rain!! *shakes fist). We ordered the Mummy Roll, Saga Monster and Saga King Roll. I'm not sushi expert, but they were fresh and each had their on distinct taste. Like the Saga King's lobster being it's highlight or Saga Monster's cream cheese/avocado was what your taste buds will latch onto right away. For drinks, I got a small bottle of Bunraku Jinmai. They had fried ice cream, which the only options were vanilla or chocolate (I've always had Matcha as an option), so they lose a smidget of points with me for that. Where we sat, it was dark and the light kept changing colors which was annoying. Our server was cool, he checked in on us, poured our sake and even told my friend that his has to be shaken before pouring. If I'm in the area and in the mood for sushi, this is definitely the place....definitely not because it's the only sushi place here that I know of.

Wow there are a lot of negative reviews! Maybe I got lucky, but I didn't see any issues with greasy floors, dirty plates, bleach in the air, or empty paper towels. I'm quite surprised by the scrutiny this place was getting. The restaurant is enormous and honestly is quite good looking. The staff was moved at a good speed and were respectable. While the hibachi chef performance wasn't anything out of this world, it was still very fun and the chef had a lot of good energy to get the crowd happy. The food itself was pretty good, I would critique that the steak was a bit tougher than I had asked for, but not very egregious. Lots of sauce on everything too so warning if you are sensitive to sodium. Overall, the place was not terrible. I see some areas for improvement, but not to the level everyone else was ranting about. Really might be seasonal during high traffic times so consider that.
